February is Black History month!

Today we honor Thurgood Marshall.

The great-grandson of a slave, Thurgood Marshall was the first African American appointed to the U.S. Supreme Court.  His most famous case that changed the American school system was Brown v. Board of Education in 1954, which declared that segregation in public schools was unconstitutional.
