SADD Club
Hello Super SSMS!   The SADD Club wants to remind everyone that OCTOBER is anti-bullying month.  Thanks to everyone who wore blue today to remind us of our commitment to continuing to be a place where everyone feels safe.  The club is challenging everyone today to smile and say hello to at least one new person every day this week!  Remember the SADD club thinks you are Terrific!
 
Hackathon Club
There will be a Hackathon club meeting on Thursday, 10/10, morning during advisory in room 211.
 
Winter I Sports
Attention all 7th and 8th graders interested in participating in Winter I sports.  Final Forms is open for registration.  Have your parent or guardian sign you up online today. Any questions come to the Health Office.
 
History Club
Got History?
History club will meet this Wednesday, 10/9, in room 401.  All are welcome.  Please see Mr. Flynn with any questions
 
Booster Club
The first Booster Club meeting is after school today, 10/8, in room 306.
 
Mathletes
The first Mathletes meeting is on Wednesday, 10/9, after school in room 306.

FACS Club
Everyone is welcome to come and join the Family and Consumer Sciences Club or FACS.  This club participates in activities such as cooking, sewing, crafts, and community service.  The first meeting will be after school tomorrow, 10/9, in room 207.
 
Sports News:
The South Side Middle School Cross Country Team had another successful meet at Oceanside Park yesterday.  Lila Rivara continuing the season on top came in first yet again with Abby McEneaney, Giuliana Gervina, Lily O’Brien, Liv Culver, Emily Spoerel and Nora Tarpey all placed in the top ten.
 
The SSMS boys team had Peter Choi, Nolan Narine, Cooper Musa, and Eric Junker in the top ten.  Coaches  Baulch, Pinto and Nastro are very proud of the whole team!
