Happy Friday!  As we wrap up Inclusive Schools Week, remember that inclusion isn’t just something we do for one week – it’s something we practice every day.

Thank you for showing kindness, respect, and acceptance all week long.  When we work together, we create a school where everyone feels valued.  Let’s keep the spirit going all year!

Congrats to the 16 students who correctly guessed this week’s Throwback Thursday teachers!  They were Mr. Baulch and Ms. Pinto.  Our winner selected from those 16 correct entries was 7th grader Grace McMahon – stop by room 306 and see Mrs.  Reilly to get your prize!  Check the 3rd floor conversation cart next week for your next TBT challenge.

Sports News!

1. The South Side Middle School Winter Track team braved the rain on Wednesday December 10th at Woodmere Middle school.  Major highlights include amazing races by Maeve McNamara, Giuliana Gervino, and Lily Drew.
2. Some of the top runners for the boys’ team included Jeremy Cererra, Aiden Deneen, Nolan Narine, and Henry Larom.
3. SSMS’s girls’ relay team featuring Av Connolly, Angie Real, Joselyn Papadopolous, and Rachael Dryden who won another race.
4. The boys’ relay team featuring Miles and Cooper Musa, and Pryce and Preston Pantina won their race as well  Great season everyone – Coaches Duggan, Pinto, McGorty and Baulch are so proud of you  all!
