Red Ribbon Week
Happy Friday! Thanks to everyone for participating in our celebration of Red Ribbon Week! Today the SADD club sends sweets to all the advisories to remind you that you are important and special just the way you are! Remember to appreciate each other, make good choices and encourage others to do the same. This year’s theme – Life is a puzzle, solve it drug free – means that you are an important piece of that puzzle. Be your best, stay drug free!! The SADD club loves you!
8th Grade Boys' Soccer
8th grade boys’ soccer please get changed and report to the outside bleachers after school today, 10/24, and wait for Mr. McGorty.
Winter Track
If you are interested in running winter track, be sure to join the Google Classroom and attend the mandatory meeting on Wednesday November 5th at 2:45 in room 118. See Coaches Duggan, Pinto, Baulch or McGorty with any questions.
Science Club
The next meeting of the science club will take place on Tuesday, October 28th, in room 126.
Basketball Meeting
There will be a basketball meeting next Monday, 10/7, morning in the auxiliary gym. Please see Mr. Alford with any questions.
Sports News
The SSMS Cross Country Team ended the season on a high note at their last meet on Thursday October 23rd. The entire SSMS girls’ team made the top 20! The top 4 runners for the girls were Lily O’Brien, Guiana Gervino, Natalie Morris, and Anya Vessa. For the boys our top runners included Nolan Narine, MP McBreen, Owen Pennisi and Robert Radano. Coach Baulch, Coach Pinto and Coach Nastro are very proud of the whole team!
