Spirit Day
Tomorrow is Summer Spirit Day!  Wear your favorite hat, sunglasses, and neon colors to show your school spirit.
 
Sports
The 8th Grade Girls’ lacrosse team won their last home game on the turf against cold spring harbor last night.  14-10!  Juliet Diorio and Abby Smith each had 4 points.
Emmy Iandorio, Katie Kassap and Sam Broegg each had 2.  Spiri Ioannoou and Kat Carder each had 1 a piece.  Gabby Merritts had 9 great saves and Juliet, CeCe Rose, Maebh O’Comhrai, and Nora Tarpey each contributed a few game changing steals!  Looking forward to our last game on Tuesday!
 
Also- a huge congrats to the Varsity girls Lacrosse team on winning their first ever Nassau County championship.  A special shoutout to Ms. Gregerson, one of our very own here at the middle school for her outstanding leadership and dedication in coaching the team to this historic victory what an incredible accomplishment!
 
Congratulations to the 7th Grade Girls’ Lacrosse team on their 9-8 win against Cold Spring Harbor.  Maeve McNamara had 5 goals, Kaitlin McCutchan had 2 goals.
Catherine Theilebuele and Cait Cinque each had 1 goal.  Poppy Jones defended the goal with 7 saves.  Special shout out to Ryann  Petrone and Norah Hall for amazing defense.
