NJHS
Attention all NJHS members:  there will be a mandatory meeting after  school this Thursday, 10/10, in the auditorium.  We will be holding our elections for officers, so please plan on staying for the entire meeting.  If you cannot attend you must speak to Mrs. Reilly prior to the meeting.

Sports:
The Girls Varsity Swimming and Diving team won their Senior Night meet against Oceanside 97-86. The girls dominated winning 9 of 13 events and had a convincing victory in the last relay of the night to complete the victory.  The win was secured with the help of Riley Manteria swimming in the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Breaststroke and Saranda Halsted swimming in the 50 free and 100 fly.  Great job competing at the varsity level!

The Boys’ Soccer team had a hard fought game last Tuesday against Syosset with a score of 4-4.  Big congrats to goalkeeper Julian Hardenburgh who played an outstanding first half with 7 saves in net.  The scoring was started by two goals from Jack Olendike who was assisted by Miles Woo.  Adam Quettant kept his great season going with a goal of his own.  With a late run by Syosset, Oliver Neuhaus scored the tying goal with one minute left.  Mr. McGorty and coach Swayne are proud of the team’s efforts.  The boys will continue their season next week away at Roslyn.  Go Cyclones!
