DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS
Thursday, October 27, Day 6
OCTOBER is NATIONAL BULLYING PREVENTION MONTH!
The SADD club would like to remind you that bullying is bad. Every day but this month we are especially reminding you to make good choices and be the person who makes someone’s day.
Today’s Anti Bullying quote is: “Never look down on someone unless you are helping them up.”
100 YEAR ANNIVERSARY
Attention SSMS: this year we will be celebrating the 100 year anniversary of this building, 67 Hillside Avenue. Our building has been a High School, a Junior High, and of course, a middle school. Be on the lookout this year for amazing ways to help celebrate our great school building. For example, we will be having spirit days where we dress up as people did in the past. the first Spirit Day will be Friday September 30th where we will all dress up as if it is the 1920s. The library will be hosting a monthly decades movie festival starting Thursday, September 29th.
To help us celebrate we will be promoting the hashtag #centennial; a word which means 100 year anniversary. And, of course, there will be more to come. So be on the lookout and keep up those amazing greetings in the morning. Remember, just saying "Hello" to someone in the morning can be very powerful.
